Automations: Existing Task Trigger & Update Task Action

Task updates can now be automated with the Update Task Action
, keeping your tasks data up-to-date without manual work. We’ve also extended the task trigger options to include Existing Task
, in addition to New Task, so you can trigger actions based on existing tasks and use the update action for both new and existing tasks.
With this update, you can:
-> Set up automations to update tasks
, if your triggering element has a data connection to tasks, you can loop over them, currently available for the questionnaire completion trigger. Alternatively, use New or Existing task
 as a trigger, allowing automated updates accordingly.
->In the Update Action Drawer
, use the multi-selector to choose which fields to update. A form will appear for the selected fields, where you can enter new values. If you leave a field empty, it will clear the existing data, and unselected fields will remain.
